About This Tour

Join the Cooperative for Education (CoEd) team and supporters on this family-friendly Helping Hands service trip which offers you the chance to work alongside students who receive support through CoEd programs. Spend your mornings painting and working on service projects at a primary school and spend your afternoons experiencing the local culture.

Whether you are a solo traveler or a group, all helping hands are welcome! Helping Hands can also be a fun and unique opportunity for parents and grandparents to volunteer with their families (kids ages 10+ welcome), reinforcing the value of service through an intentional balance of hard work and play throughout the week.

CoEd makes all arrangements for meals, lodging, security, and transportation.

Members attending will be responsible for airfare to La Aurora – GUA

CoEd is a nonprofit helping Guatemalan schoolchildren break the cycle of poverty in Guatemala through education. For more information on the great work they’re doing check out their website.
